Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Construction Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing single and/or multiple projects in the pre-construction stage, ensuring a smooth transition from pre-construction to construction while maintaining strong relationships with clients, designers, architects, and the project team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the pre-construction process for assigned projects.
- Ensure a smooth transition from pre-construction to construction while maintaining strong relationships with clients, designers, architects, and the project team.
- Bid management and review of negotiated tenders.
- Work with Business Development delivering client presentations.
- Plan pre-construction and project-specific setup.
- Liaise with the estimating team for various phases of pre-construction, programming, schematic design, design development.
- Check tender and design compliance with specifications and Employer's requirements.
- Attend early planning meetings with clients.
- Coordinate pre-construction and cost planning input.
- Assist the site-based PM and management team.
- Review and assist project progress reporting, including input information.
- Develop commissioning and test plans with project teams.
- Assist with the management of handover and project close-out.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Trimble/Amtech Estimating software.
- Knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical installations essential.
- Bachelor's degree Level in Engineering or similar Discipline.
