About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team as a Children and Young People Mental Health Community Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people who are experiencing mental health issues and to make a positive impact on their lives.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health, with experience of working with children and young people who have social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties. They will be able to deliver evidence-based interventions and work collaboratively with other agencies to provide a comprehensive service.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people and who is committed to delivering high-quality mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to children and young people who are experiencing mental health issues.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies to provide a comprehensive service.
  • Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to children and young people and their families.
  • Work in partnership with schools and other educational settings to promote mental health awareness and provide support.
Requirements
  • Qualified Mental Health Practitioner with experience of working with children and young people.
  • Strong background in mental health, with experience of delivering evidence-based interventions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other agencies and to provide a comprehensive service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
