Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to join our Fund Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing a portfolio of alternative investment fund clients, providing technical accounting expertise and ensuring high-quality client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary accounting and administration liaison for clients, responsible for interaction with clients, board members, and third-party intermediaries.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring client deliverables are met and a high level of service is provided.
  • Oversee the periodic and annual reporting processes, providing technical input on and review of management accounts and financial statements.
  • Supervise the management of the audit process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver key fund administration processes, including capital calls, distributions, and client billing and cash management.
  • Manage finance and compliance-related KPIs and assist with ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant with a respected accounting body, such as ACCA or ACA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a related role, preferably in alternative investments.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Experience with consolidation and knowledge of eFront and/or Yardi is desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and possess excellent communication skills.
