Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to join our team in [Location]. As a key member of our Fund Services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting and administrative services to our clients. This will include managing client relationships, overseeing the periodic and annual reporting processes, and supervising the audit process.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main accounting and administration liaison and point of contact for clients, responsible for interaction with clients, board members, and third-party intermediaries.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring client deliverables are met and a high level of service is provided.
- Oversee the periodic and annual reporting processes, providing technical input on and review of management accounts and financial statements.
- Supervise the audit process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Deliver key fund administration processes, including capital calls, distributions, and client billing and cash management.
- Manage finance and compliance-related KPIs, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant with a respected accounting body, such as ACCA or ACA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a related role, preferably in alternative investments.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience with consolidation and eFront and/or Yardi would be an asset.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and possess excellent communication skills.
