We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children's Residential Deputy Manager to join our team at ZG Recruitment. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to vulnerable children and young people in our residential home.
About the RoleThis is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of residential childcare and a passion for working with children who have experienced trauma. As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Residential Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Residential Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to provide exceptional care and support to residents.
- Work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the home and the delivery of high-quality care.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each resident.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement strategies to minimize risks to residents and staff.
- Ensure that all staff are trained and equipped to provide high-quality care and support.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or a related field.At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a children's residential setting.Knowledge and experience of working with OFSTED regulations and quality standards.Excellent communication and leadership skills.What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
