This position is ideal for a seasoned Manufacturing Operations Leader with a strong background in leadership within the manufacturing sector, who is motivated by the chance to effect significant and tangible improvements in a rapidly growing environment.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities while managing multiple functions within your scope of work. The areas of responsibility include: Production, Maintenance, Logistics, Continuous Improvement (CI), and Quality Assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading teams to achieve production performance targets
- Monitoring operational performance and providing appropriate reports
- Identifying and implementing lean manufacturing initiatives
- Collaborating across departments to develop systems that facilitate necessary improvement activities
- Supporting Quality, Safety, Warehousing, and Logistics in achieving overall operational excellence
- Developing and mentoring team members
- Promoting a culture focused on continuous improvement and excellence
- Establishing and supporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and human resources protocols
- Providing coaching and mentorship
- Enhancing departmental efficiency through a collaborative approach
Qualifications:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or Manufacturing
- A systematic and analytical mindset with strong practical skills
- Excellent interpersonal abilities and a flexible management style
- Experience with capital expenditure projects and operational enhancements
- A robust Continuous Improvement toolkit and a commitment to best practices in your areas of responsibility
