Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team at Kingston Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for overseeing production and ensuring that our client's manufacturing site in Hull operates efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning and Control: Develop and implement production plans to meet deadlines and budgets, ensuring that production targets are met within time and budget.
- Quality and Safety: Implement strategies to improve quality and safety, monitor and promote safety regulations and standards, and conduct regular risk assessments via shop floor walkabouts.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and optimize workflow through lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Reporting and Analysis: Produce regular reports to reflect budgets, production outcomes, and material, labor, and equipment usage.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven production management experience within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- A knowledge of the food industry and BRC standards would be an advantage.
- A flexible approach to working hours to deal with issues as and when they occur.
What We Offer:
We offer a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a generous salary and company pension scheme.
