Commercial Director

Amplifi Talent is proud to be working exclusively with a leading business in the construction sector, seeking an experienced Commercial Director to join their high-performing team.
Job Summary:The Commercial Director will be responsible for managing multiple high-value contracts, ensuring effective risk management, and maintaining first-class client relationships. This role requires excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to bring teams together and balance the bottom line of a project with client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Resolving contractual and commercial problems
- Contract assessment and understanding/implementation of contract law
- Risk assessment and ensuring effective controls and milestones are in place and adhered to
- Commercial management of contracts
- Profitability Analysis for each project and identifying potential cost savings and revenue enhancement
- Reviewing/developing operational process flows
- Overseeing financial KPIs
- Ensuring that all stakeholders understand and adhere to agreed contractual obligations
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in commercial management and quantity surveying. A qualification such as a BSc in Commercial Management & Quantity Survey is desirable. The ability to collaborate with the team and stakeholders, and to create a culture of collaboration, is essential.
