Product Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Governance Specialist to join our team at Schroders. As a key member of our Product Governance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the annual FCA Assessment of Value, including project managing the assessment process and maintaining an up-to-date runbook and action log to meet regulatory reporting deadlines.
- Collate information from multiple functions and lead engagements with internal stakeholders, such as Investments, Finance, Fund Operations, Risk, Marketing, and Performance.
- Prepare materials and present to the Product Governance Committee and relevant internal Boards.
- Support the coordination of Product Governance Committee meetings.
- Actively engage with Client Group (and clients) to understand their needs and ensure our products and services meet their expectations.
- Maintain awareness of competitor, regulatory, and market developments.
- Draft and maintain the quality of policy and procedures documentation.
- Actively contribute and lead on ad hoc work and strategic projects as they arise.
- Demonstratable delivery-focused organisational/prioritisation and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, including the ability to perform data reconciliation and analysis.
- A strong interest in and willingness to learn and implement new technologies, including AI, to improve Product Governance processes and client outcomes.
- Flexibility to multitask across multiple fund ranges and asset classes.
- Good knowledge/experience of the asset management industry, including an understanding of investment products and structures.
