About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy service at Kingsgate House in Stockport. As a Band 7 Physiotherapist, you will provide clinical and managerial leadership in your specialist area, promoting self-management and expert practice within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision, in-service training, and mentoring to support the team in delivering an efficient and effective service.
  • Supervise, educate, and assess the performance of students to a graduate standard, working with universities to ensure high standards of practice and teaching.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff, promoting evidence-based practice and clinical governance.
  • Contribute to the development of the service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy and registration with the Health Care Professions Council.
  • Clinical experience as a Band 6 with specialist knowledge of Musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Supervision of senior and junior staff and students, with experience of organizing and implementing training programs.
  • Ability to work flexibly, with a reliable work record and a clear vision for the role.
