Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Field Sales Representative to join our team at Macfarlane Packaging. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a business plan for allocated territory to maximize sales and deliver excellent standards of customer service and support at all times.
  • Maintain and develop existing accounts while also identifying new business opportunities and extending the customer base.
  • Maintain strong sales administration, including the use of CRM (MS Dynamics) to follow up all leads, enquiries, and quotes.
  • Work closely with the site's internal teams and in particular our sales coordinators to ensure a first-class service is provided to customers at all times.
  • Adopt a consultative approach with clients in tailoring appropriate solutions to meet their needs while developing and maintaining a strong knowledge of all packaging solutions and full product range.
  • Meet potential clients, growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Plan approaches, sales presentations, and pitches.
  • Meet yearly and monthly sales targets assigned to you.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of field-based/client-facing sales experience.
  • Selling with integrity, you will be accustomed to delighting customers and be able to illustrate a recent track-record of success in meeting sales targets.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Reside on patch within the East Yorkshire area.
  • Computer literacy, including the use of CRM (dynamics) and MS Office products.
