About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Business Account Executive to join our team in Cheltenham. As a key member of our Endsleigh team, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding new business targets in the education sector, with a focus on travel products for language schools, tour operators, universities, colleges, schools, and accommodation providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and secure new university, college, school, or student accommodation provider partnerships, ensuring successful onboarding of new clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, making recommendations to language schools, tour operators, universities, colleges, schools, and accommodation providers through phone, video calls, or in-person meetings.
  • Attend relevant conferences to generate new opportunities and provide accurate sales forecasts to the Client Director using pipeline reporting and CRM systems.
  • Support the wider team in managing relationships with key partners and work with Service and Renewals to deliver an exceptional new business customer experience.
  • Provide insurance to clients and model effective protection through the provision of appropriate insurance products.
  • Identify opportunities for leads to other areas of B2B, providing introductions and supporting the cross-sell process.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of insurance sales gained in a Broker or Insurer environment (desirable but not essential).
  • Ability to use a CRM tool (preferably Salesforce) effectively from both an opportunity management and reporting perspective.
  • Ability to spot and identify opportunities for cross-selling.
  • Customer-focused approach, ability to exceed individual targets, and achieve deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently and use initiative.
  • Computer literate, able to manage your own diary and workload effectively, and work to tight deadlines with accuracy.
  • Ability to understand people and build rapport, adapt styles of communication, and attention to detail.
  • Calming and resilient under pressure, experience of dealing with third parties, and ability to develop relationships.
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent), Cert CII (desirable).
