Job Role
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with a range of children and young people with additional and complex needs. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to teachers and other staff members in the classroom, as well as working one-to-one with pupils who require additional support.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support to teachers and other staff members in the classroom
* Work one-to-one with pupils who require additional support
* Assist with the development and implementation of individual education plans
* Support the inclusion of pupils with special educational needs in mainstream lessons
* Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and development
Requirements
* Good numeracy, literacy, and ICT skills (GCSE Level 4 or equivalent in English and Math's is desirable)
* Ability to work with a range of children and young people with additional and complex needs
* Team player who can build good working relationships with colleagues
* Flexible, enthusiastic, and resilient, with a good sense of humour
* Committed to ongoing personal development
