Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our facilities management team on a full-time permanent contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about their trade and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing all reactive works on site, signing off their own electrical work, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

The role will involve working on a site-based position, Monday to Thursday, 10 hours a day, with an on-call rota. However, working a 5-day week can be discussed during interviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fire alarm system operation and weekly maintenance checks
  • Investigating tripped circuit breakers and resolving electrical issues
  • Responding to dock door initial fault responses
  • Performing regular preventative maintenance tasks, including water temperature checks, descaling of showers and outlets, and disabled toilet alarm checks
Essential Qualifications:
  • 18th Edition electrical certification
  • NVQ Level 3 Technical Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Full UK driving license
Desirable Qualifications:
  • EV installation experience
  • PAT testing certification
  • AM2 certification
