Join Our Team as an Electrical Systems Technician
We are on the lookout for a proficient and knowledgeable Electrical Systems Technician to become a vital part of our growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing all necessary reactive maintenance tasks on-site and will have the authority to certify their own electrical work, including Minor Works Certificates and Electrical Installation Certificates.
This role is primarily site-based, requiring work from Monday to Thursday for 10 hours each day, with an expectation to participate in an on-call rota. However, there is flexibility to discuss a five-day workweek during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operation and weekly testing of fire alarm systems
- Initial fault response for dock doors
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM), including water temperature checks, descaling of showers and outlets, disabled toilet alarms, and weekly checks of the sprinkler system (Training will be provided as necessary)
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Technology or an equivalent qualification
- Full UK Driving License
Additional Skills:
- Experience in Electric Vehicle (EV) installation
- Proficiency in Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
