Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Ultra Maritime. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing advanced electrical systems for our naval projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Electrical Systems: Create and implement electrical schematics and designs for our naval projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Analyse and Optimise Electrical Systems: Conduct thorough analysis and optimisation of electrical systems to ensure performance, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Generate Requirements and Documentation: Develop detailed requirements and documentation for electrical systems, including schematics, diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Work closely with our engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other project components.
  • Provide Expert Advice: Offer expert advice and guidance on electrical component selection, design, and implementation.
Requirements:
  • Education: A minimum of HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in specifying electrical components, designing electrical systems, and working with electrical standards.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of electrical standards, and experience with electrical schematic capture and drawing review.
