Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Weekend Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Orion Electrotech. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Assist with electrical installations and equipment upgrades as required, working closely with our engineering team to ensure seamless integration.
- Support our site's operational excellence by implementing proactive and hands-on maintenance strategies.
- Work on a flexible shift pattern, including occasional overtime and holiday cover, to meet the demands of our production schedule.
- Maintain high health and safety standards, ensuring minimal downtime of equipment and a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Multi-skilled experience, ideally with a 50/50 split between electrical and mechanical skills.
- Industry experience in manufacturing, with a focus on production line maintenance and equipment optimization.
- Previous experience with PPM and CMMS systems, with a proven track record of implementing effective maintenance strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive mindset towards continuous improvement and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
