We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to lead our residential care team in Northampton.
The role of the Registered Manager is to provide strategic leadership and be a positive role model for all employees. This involves being accountable for a residential setting and ensuring that high standards are achieved and maintained through the implementation of policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will be able to:
- Manage the home to ensure it meets the expected standards of care and quality.
- Lead the team to ensure adequate staffing levels, including daily rota management, holiday requests, absence cover, and attendance at training and sessional bank.
- Establish and maintain positive routines and ensure that individual needs are always taken into account.
- Ensure that Health & Safety regulations are fully observed, alongside any other relevant legislation, and take responsibility for implementing these within the home.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times, including around residents, employees, systems, and procedures, both during and after employment.
As a key member of the Elite Employment team, the Registered Manager will be responsible for driving excellence in care and ensuring that our residential home meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the residential care team.
- Care Quality: Ensure that high standards of care are maintained and that individual needs are always taken into account.
- Staff Management: Lead the team to ensure adequate staffing levels and manage daily rota, holiday requests, and absence cover.
- Health & Safety: Ensure that Health & Safety regulations are fully observed and implemented within the home.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality at all times, including around residents, employees, systems, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a residential care setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
