Job Title: Children's Home Registered Manager

Elite Care Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our residential care home in Northampton.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to manage the day-to-day operations of our Ofsted regulated residential provision. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of emotional, social, and physical care for our young residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the residential provision, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are equipped to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, including annual appraisals, regular supervision, and induction and development opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with social work teams, the Virtual School, clinicians, and other key partners.
  • Ensure the service is up-to-date with legislative changes and disseminate information to staff as required.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a service improvement plan.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or willingness to undertake training to achieve this.
  • Knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations and the Social Care Common Inspection Framework.
  • Experience of working with children and/or adults with disabilities at a senior level.
