Job Overview

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking an experienced nurse leader to join our cardiothoracic surgery team as Matron. This is an exciting time of positive change and expansion, as we celebrate our 900 year anniversary and grow our surgical services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide supportive and clear objectives to the post holders direct line reporters.
  • Deliver on key performance indicators:
    • Quality & safety
    • Clinical outcomes
    • Financial objectives
    • Education & research
  • Support the delivery at local level of the Trust/Group mission to deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient care, this includes local and site wide quality improvements work streams.
