Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Complex Care Assistant to join our team at Advantage Healthcare Limited. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to children with complex needs, including tracheostomy and ventilation care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Children's Complex Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality care and support to children with complex needs, including tracheostomy and ventilation care
  • Working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care and support
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Supporting children with their personal care needs, including toileting and continence care
  • Assisting with medication administration and monitoring
  • Providing emotional support and reassurance to children and their families
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in childcare with ventilation care and tracheostomy care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to care
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of medication administration and monitoring
