About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Advantage Healthcare Limited. As a Children's Complex Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children with complex needs.


Key Responsibilities

**Providing Personal Care**: You will be responsible for providing personal care to children with complex needs, including tracheostomy and ventilation care.


**Supporting Daily Living**: You will assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, to ensure the children's physical and emotional well-being.


**Managing Medical Equipment**: You will be responsible for managing medical equipment, such as ventilators and tracheostomy tubes, to ensure the children's safety and comfort.


**Collaborating with Healthcare Professionals**: You will work closely with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to develop and implement care plans that meet the children's individual needs.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • Previous experience in childcare with ventilation care and tracheostomy care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
