About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Children's Care Specialist to join our team at Advantage Healthcare Limited. As a Children's Complex Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to children with complex needs.


Key Responsibilities

As a Children's Complex Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality care and support to children with complex needs, including tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care.
  • Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Providing emotional support and reassurance to children and their families.
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive team culture.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in childcare with ventilation care and tracheostomy care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
