About the Role

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality, personalised support to our service users in their own homes.

Job Summary

We have a new opportunity available for a Healthcare Assistant to work with our service user in Darlington, supporting with their complex care needs on a 1:1 basis throughout the day.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to the service user, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication administration, and clinical observations.
  • Accompany the service user to their educational setting and support with their daily activities.
  • Assist the service user in enjoying their hobbies and interests, and provide a supportive and positive environment that promotes independence and dignity.

Requirements

  • 3 months of previous healthcare experience, including medication administration, personal care, and moving and handling.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision and maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
