Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality one-to-one care to our service users, promoting their independence and well-being.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of clinical skill and experience. You will work closely with our service users, their families, and our care team to provide personalized care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with medication administration and monitoring
  • Support service users with their daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household tasks
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to service users
Requirements:
  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration
  • Valid Driver's Licence
Desirable Skills:
  • Tracheostomy Care
  • Ventilation Management
  • Spinal Injury Awareness
  • Oral suctioning
  • Physiotherapy
Working Hours:

We have a range of shifts available, including part-time days and nights. You must be flexible to work days and nights, including weekends and bank holidays.

Pay Rates:

We offer competitive pay rates, including:

  • Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £182 per 14 hour shift)
  • Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (Approx. £155.25 per 11.5-hour shift)
  • Weekends: £14.00 per hour (Approx. £196.00 per 14-hour shifts)
  • Bank Holiday: £15.00 per hour (Approx. £210 per 14-hour shift)
