Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, one-to-one care to our service users, promoting their independence and well-being.

About the Role:

  • Provide personal care and support to our service users, including assistance with daily living tasks, mobility, and medication administration.
  • Work collaboratively with our care team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive care environment, promoting the dignity and autonomy of our service users.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration
  • Valid Driver's Licence

Desirable Skills:

  • Tracheostomy Care
  • Ventilation Management
  • Spinal Injury Awareness
  • Oral suctioning
  • Physiotherapy

Working Hours:

  • Part Time Days and Nights
  • 2 shifts per week
  • Days: 8:30am - 10:30pm
  • Nights: 9:45pm - 9:00am and 10:00pm - 9:30am

Pay Rates:

  • Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £182 per 14 hour shift)
  • Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (Approx. £155.25 per 11.5-hour shift)
  • Weekends: £14.00 per hour (Approx. £196.00 per 14-hour shifts)
  • Bank Holiday: £15.00 per hour (Approx. £210 per 14-hour shift)
