Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Engagement Team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customer accounts, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Account Management
    • Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, including delivering demonstrations to upskill customers on our learner management system
    • Sell additional products and services to existing customers
    • Provide exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers
  • Business Development
    • Attend regional and national events to build brand awareness and identify new business opportunities
    • Undertake research and profiling to source new opportunities and grow existing customers
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Proven sales experience winning new business customers, working in similar sales, Account management or business development roles
    • Experience managing sales processes from start to finish, including identifying new prospects, securing initial meetings, and onboarding new clients
    • Excellent office/IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Google/Microsoft Docs, and Spreadsheets
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Understanding of alternative provision and dealing with students with special needs
    • Ability to build relationships with existing customers through outbound prospecting and deliver excellent customer service
    • Knowledge of the social care sector and its challenges
  • Personal Qualities
    • Highly motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
