About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a doctor to work in a fast-paced environment, clinically assessing patients and responding to emergencies. As an Accident and Emergency Registrar, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing patients quickly and effectively, often with limited information
- Providing high-quality patient care and making decisions in a dynamic environment
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
As an Accident and Emergency Registrar, you will be responsible for:
- Responding to accidents and emergencies, including minor cuts, traffic accidents, strokes, heart attacks, self-harm, and alcohol and drug-related ailments
- Providing emergency care and treatment to patients, including stabilizing and transporting patients to other departments as needed
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid GMC registration
- The right to work in the UK
- At least 3 months of paid experience in the NHS or UK
- 6 months of paid UK experience as a doctor
