Join Huntress as an HR Advisor and be a key member of our HR team. As an HR Advisor, you will provide guidance on HR policies, support employee relations, and assist with key HR processes.
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Partnering with HR Business Partners to provide guidance on policies and HR practices
- Managing low-level Employee Relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance investigations
- Advising on HR policies, covering probations, leave, absence management, and flexible working
- Overseeing performance management processes, including goal setting and improvement plans
- Handling escalated HR Help queries and supporting onboarding, inductions, and exit interviews
- Assisting with HR initiatives, including employee engagement, diversity programs, and policy updates
- Identifying and escalating trends in employee concerns for proactive solutions
- Improving the People Assist knowledge library by addressing common queries and anticipating needs
- Working with the HR Coordinator to deliver accurate metrics and maintain data integrity
- Analysing absence trends and reporting to HR Business Partners
- Reviewing exit interview feedback, identifying trends, and assisting in creating action plans
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of experience as an HR Advisor or similar role, with a solid understanding of HR principles, employment legislation, and best practices
- Minimum CIPD Level 3 or equivalent
- Proficient in HRIS software and Microsoft Office packages
- Experienced in analysing and presenting HR data
- Strong ability to build trust and relationships across all levels, with excellent written and verbal communication
- High accuracy in handling documents, records, and compliance, with the ability to manage sensitive information discreetly
- Strong organisational skills, time management, and a practical approach to resolving issues
