Red King Resourcing is in search of a talented and motivated Technical Support Specialist to enhance our IT support division.

The successful candidate will possess a solid background in a Microsoft ecosystem, demonstrating expertise in MS Office 365, IP networking, and Windows operating systems.

This position is ideal for a committed IT professional holding a relevant qualification in computer science or IT support, who is keen to deliver exceptional technical assistance and address a range of IT challenges.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 1st and 2nd line technical assistance to users through various channels including phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues pertaining to MS Office 365, IP networking, and Windows operating systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain both hardware and software systems.
  • Support the establishment and upkeep of user accounts and access rights.
  • Oversee and manage IT support requests, ensuring prompt resolution and outstanding customer service.
  • Execute regular system updates and patches to maintain optimal functionality and security.
  • Offer technical advice and support to users, aiding them in navigating IT systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with fellow IT team members to ensure cohesive support and knowledge sharing.

Essential Requirements:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support capacity.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office 365, IP networking, and Windows operating systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and effective technical support.
  • A customer-oriented mindset with a dedication to delivering high-quality assistance.

Preferred Certifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified.
