About the Role

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our Implementation Team as a Senior Implementation Officer (Infrastructure Planning). This is a two-year, fixed-term contract that provides the opportunity to be part of a key team within Planning Services and have a central role in the delivery of major projects and strategies that will shape the future of the district.

About the Team

The Implementation Team plays a key role in delivering new housing and economic growth to Huntingdonshire. Working alongside colleagues in Strategic Development and Planning Policy, as well as the wider development management planning teams, the team is responsible for working with colleagues and partners to identify infrastructure needs, the mitigation required, the funding package, and the delivery mechanism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish effective project management and monitoring of legal agreements and infrastructure project delivery.
  • Work with experts to assimilate and analyze complex data in a systematic way and to distil and present information.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal colleagues and external infrastructure providers and stakeholders at all levels.
