Job Summary

We are seeking a Bank Support Worker to join our team at Strode Road in Clevedon. As a Bank Support Worker, you will have the flexibility to choose your shifts and work at times that suit you.

Our Bank Support Workers provide support to around 15 people in one day, offering a variety of sessions including time at our allotments, working with volunteers, and in the community. This makes every day different for the people we support.

We also provide community and enabling support for young adults and children, ensuring they have access to facilities and activities they choose. This means the shift patterns are varied and will include evening and weekend working.

Experience is not essential as we provide full training. All you need is a willingness to learn, flexibility, a can-do attitude, and a desire to help someone live a full life

The support you provide will be centred around each person's values, preferences, and needs, which could include developing daily living skills, accessing a wider community, personal care, and medication needs.

  • Ability to work well as part of a team

About the Role:

To empower the people we support to live the lives they want to lead, to develop daily living skills, support the people we support to access their communities, contribute to, develop, and implement the individuals' care plans, communicate effectively and professionally with people we support, their family members, and external professionals, and maintain the health needs of the individuals we support.
