Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Merchandising Team Driver to join our team at C2 Recruitment - Retail, Hospitality & Charity Specialists. As a key member of our merchandising team, you will be responsible for carrying out merchandising tasks, overseeing the transportation of a small team of merchandisers, and ensuring the efficient execution of retail stocktaking and transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Merchandising and Stocktaking: Remove and replace stock with the use of client plans and systems, adjust shelf heights, move stock from the warehouse onto the shop floor, and perform stock replenishment tasks.
  • Transportation and Logistics: Oversee the transportation of a small team of merchandisers to and from each shift, ensuring timely and efficient execution of transportation operations.
  • Team Management: Work as part of a team led by a Team Manager or Store Management, collaborating to achieve merchandising and transportation goals.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Escalate any issues with the vehicle in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition at all times.

Requirements

  • Full Driving License: Possess a valid full driving license and be able to drive a company minibus.
  • Age Requirement: Be at least 21 years old due to the unsociable hours and night shifts involved in the role.
  • Previous Experience: Have previous experience in retail, although training will be provided.
  • Key Skills: Possess a 'can do' attitude, be able to work long shifts, and have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
