Defence Claims Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Defence Claims Manager to join our team at Strata Solicitors. As a key member of our corporate client service team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day management of our motor defence team, ensuring the consistent delivery of a premium service through the optimum use of all processes, systems, and resources.
Key Responsibilities- Act with honesty and integrity at all times, leading by example and promoting a positive and willing attitude to all.
- Work closely and professionally with the SSL and GB Management teams to deliver a premium client service and achieve the aims and targets of SSL.
- Act as the key conduit between the claims handlers and the SSL and GB Management team.
- Document defence procedures, develop and maintain client relationships, and prepare for and attend client service reviews.
- Train claims handlers in respect of client procedures and monitor the work of team claims handlers to ensure that client service level agreements and key performance indicators are maintained and always met.
- Ensure that the data held on the case management system is to a sufficiently high standard and work with SSL and GB Management team and IT support in the preparation of client reports.
- Ensure that the team achieves and maintains full compliance with all office protocols, client service level agreements, and client key performance indicators.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive person with a "can do" approach, good leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and lead by example. You should be able to cope under pressure and respond to demands, be adaptable to change, and have good organisational skills. Experience of handling motor/litigated claims is essential, and previous management experience would be an advantage.
