Key Responsibilities- Work closely with our marketing team to assist in marketing strategies and activities that drive new user growth in Africa and meet short and long-term business goals.
- Lead and support the development of Integrated Brand campaigns and go-to-market strategies to promote our brand and products.
- Develop and pitch disruptive go-to-market opportunities and culturally relevant ideas to drive business growth.
- Manage internal resources to develop integrated campaigns, including briefing, reviews, and production.
- Lead the development of creative assets, ensuring localization across platforms.
- Collaborate with our media team and key media partners to build and execute campaign media plans.
- Build marketing processes, toolkits, and best practices in collaboration with other marketing teammates and cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with our Product Marketing team to develop marketing campaigns celebrating our product features and launches.
- Identify best practices and ensure consistency across markets, assisting in robust planning.
- Track and measure campaign success, leading communication with internal and external parties, and facilitating regular check-ins with team leads.
- Prepare presentations and clearly communicate findings from initiatives to management, the broader organization, and on occasion, leadership teams.
- Provide oversight and support to junior contributors on the team, enabling the best work of others on the team.
- Manage relevant marketing budgets to deliver work on time and within budget.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Product Marketing Specialist with a strong background in marketing and a passion for driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in large brand campaign management with an understanding of communications and media planning.Experience and knowledge of Marketing in a tech environment.Experience driving customer acquisition and growth through the implementation of digital and traditional media strategies.Excellent communication, presentation, management, and interpersonal skills.Experience working with media and creative agencies.Experience developing campaigns with disruptive and innovative GTM approaches and testing new media opportunities.Solid knowledge of consumers, with a demonstrated experience utilizing consumer research and data to drive actionable insights to inform marketing strategy and improve the consumer experience.Experience managing multiple campaigns at the same time and working with many different internal and external teams to ensure seamless launches and high impact.Strong budget and project management skills, attention to detail, and communication.A track record of high-performing digital campaigns against relevant benchmarks.Understanding of social networking, dating, or other digital-first platforms and a strong belief in Spowse's brand vision and values.Ability to take the initiative in handling projects and anticipating needs.Positive, committed, 'can-do' attitude and flexible approach.Able to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including premium healthcare coverage, flexible work arrangements, and the opportunity to work on side projects that benefit Spowse.
