Land and Partnerships Director

Due to an investment in our Group Land function, we have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Group Long Term Partnership Land Director to join us to develop the Long-Term Partnership Land function to secure sufficient, aligned strategic land to sustain our growth plans over the long term.
Key Responsibilities:- Setting the direction and strategy for strategic land acquisition
- Working with regional land teams to ensure they buy into opportunities being sourced and contribute to their appraisal
- Maintaining a corporate framework to ensure a consistent approach to sourcing and securing strategic land
- Delivering strategic land opportunities in line with budget by identifying opportunities through their established network
- Securing land under the required option terms and promoting them in a way that presents the best possible chance of success
- A creative and resilient individual who will combine their knowledge and understanding in the land, development and planning processes with an enthusiastic, self-motivated, solutions-focused approach
- Skilled in relationship building and stakeholder engagement with experience in developing strategies and in influencing senior decision makers
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills
- Passionate about Land and Partnerships, with proven experience in Planning, Land Acquisition and Leadership and a clear understanding of the Partnership model
