Purpose of the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our HR team as a Senior HR Advisor, where you will play a key role in guiding managers through key employee relations activities, supporting the recruitment and onboarding of new hires, and building management capability through training and coaching practices.
Key Responsibilities- Employee Relations: Provide comprehensive advice, guidance, and practical support to managers and employees regarding employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary and grievance matters, and absence management.
- Employee Engagement: Support the employee engagement plan and health and wellbeing focus days to increase engagement and address areas of concern.
- Recruitment Activities: Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager to select candidates, manage agency relationships, and source top talent.
- Learning and Development: Assist and coach managers in the assessment, development, and performance management of employees, ensuring objectives are set and performance appraisals are conducted.
- Reward: Oversee the production of monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy, and support the annual pay review process to ensure accurate calculations and adoption of annual pay increases.
- HR Administration: Take ownership of HR Administration processes, guiding the HR Administrator in the efficient and accurate delivery of all HR Administration activities.
- Organisational Change: Support the Head of HR during periods of rapid growth, including TUPE processes and administration to ensure legislative compliance and continued employee engagement.
- Collaborative: Work effectively within a team, providing direction, coaching, and support to colleagues.
- Emotional Intelligence: Demonstrate confidentiality and sensitivity in dealing with all issues of business, especially when handling sensitive situations and information, and UK employment legislation.
