SECURITY OPERATIONS CENTER ANALYST – PERMANENT – HYBRID – £55,000-65,000

Bestman Solutions is collaborating with a leading global data science organization to expand their security division.

This position presents an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic SOC Analyst to become part of a skilled team of security experts, while also benefiting from extensive training and a comprehensive benefits package.

As a SOC Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include monitoring potential threats, managing incident responses, and overseeing daily security operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Threat Detection and Monitoring
  • Incident Management
  • Detection Engineering
  • Malware Analysis (both Static and Dynamic)
  • Threat Hunting and Intelligence (utilizing MITRE ATT&CK framework)
  • Cloud Security Management
  • Penetration Testing
  • Security Automation (SOAR technologies)

Required Qualifications:

Proficiency and experience in the following areas:

  • SIEM Solutions
  • Vulnerability Assessment
  • Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) Tools
  • Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems
  • Web Proxy Technologies
  • Network Security and Firewalls
  • Programming Skills – advantageous
