Job Summary

Albany Beck is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Business Analyst to join our team in a long-term program of work with a leading Investment Bank in London. The bank is embarking on a significant project to enhance cybersecurity and ensure compliance with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Cybersecurity Business Analyst to contribute to this critical initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to cybersecurity and DORA compliance.
  • Cyber Risk Analysis: Assist in identifying potential cyber risks and vulnerabilities that could impact the bank's operations.
  • Compliance Support: Support the implementation of DORA requirements by working with the compliance team to ensure all cyber-related processes meet regulatory standards.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze cybersecurity data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential threats. Provide insights and recommendations based on the analysis.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, outlining cyber risks, compliance status, and proposed mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the cybersecurity team and other departments, ensuring clear and effective communication of business needs and technical solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance current cybersecurity processes and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the financial services or cybersecurity industry.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance (DORA knowledge is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
