About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Resilience Analyst to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As a Business Resilience Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the efforts of our team to continuously improve and increase the sophistication of mapping and testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analysis on resilience documentation to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and opportunities to improve resilience.
  • Participate in group scenario testing to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities to improve operational resilience, including the design and creation of tests with SMEs in the business.
  • Ensure any vulnerabilities and actions identified during scenario testing or lessons learned exercises are agreed with owners and documented in good time.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of working in a role which includes analysing complex data.
  • Experience of process mapping, business continuity/resilience planning or assessment of IT/operational risk would be an advantage.
  • An interest in financial regulations and operational resilience.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated, proactive and confident.
  • Ability to format and manipulate data in excel with experience of formulas, tables and data presentation.
  • Experience of using Visio or similar process mapping tools.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
  • Experience of articulating risks and solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience of using Excel.
  • Understands the Operational Resilience regulations.
