About the Role:

Evan Craig is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team as a Project Lead. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing a variety of Civil Engineering projects, working closely with our clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Civil Engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of project team members, including engineers, technicians, and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards, including Manual for Streets, Design Manual for Roads and Bridges, and Sewers for Adoption.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members, including training and mentoring.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and proposals, including identifying new business opportunities and developing bid documents.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends, and apply this knowledge to improve project delivery and business performance.

Requirements:

  • Accredited MEng (or equivalent BEng or BSc) Civil Engineering Degree.
  • Significant experience in Civil Engineering project management, including experience in leading and managing projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and practices, including experience with Autodesk Civils 3D and Report Writing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including experience in working with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including experience in identifying and resolving complex problems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
