Global Payroll Associate

Gotham Technology Group is seeking a skilled Global Payroll Associate to join our team. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate data processing in our payroll system for multiple locations. Your expertise in global payroll management principles and experience with payroll systems like Workday will be invaluable in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll data accurately and efficiently for designated locations.
- Prepare accounting papers, schedules, exhibits, and summaries for audit and compliance purposes.
- Conduct accounts reconciliation and provide support for locations under your purview.
- Adhere to the payroll calendar and communicate it to employees.
- Work with payroll providers to ensure labour and tax obligations are fulfilled and compliant.
- Deliver payroll efficiently and effectively for designated locations, meeting service level agreements.
- Respond to employee queries and provide assistance with payroll/payslips within agreed timelines.
- Prepare year-end reports and audit reports as required.
- Ensure all payroll changes are supported with required documentation before processing.
- Collaborate with the Employee Support Centre to ensure payroll changes are entered before the payroll cut-off date.
- Prepare monthly payroll documentation for signing-off by the Global Payroll Manager.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing global payroll processing.
- Knowledge of payroll systems like Workday and partners.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, troubleshoot, and follow initiatives to completion.
- Experience in continuous process improvement techniques.
- Understanding of global payroll management principles.
- Ability to work with external payroll providers.
- Ability to conduct internal process audits and take corrective actions.
- Strong written, verbal, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and growth in diversity, equity, inclusion, antiracism, and social justice.
