Job Description

Job Title: Apprenticeship Contract Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Contract Management Specialist to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our programme, you will be responsible for providing commercial, contractual, and technical interpretation of contracts, leading the commercial evaluation and preparation of contract change proposals, and ensuring contract compliance and management activities are executed effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial, contractual, and technical interpretation of contracts to ensure alignment with programme objectives.
  • Lead the commercial evaluation and preparation of contract change proposals, including scope definition, pricing strategy, risk evaluation, and allocation.
  • Manage queries and disputes in the delivery phase, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on programme performance.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with customer commercial/contracts teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Proactively identify risks, issues, and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Operate independently, communicating effectively with technical staff, peers, management, customers, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • Liaise with other Leidos operating units and corporate departments as required.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in managing commercial and contractual elements of a contract change pipeline.
  • Strong comprehension of programme technical performance metrics and financial status.
  • Ability to operate independently and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Good level of understanding of programme technical performance metrics and financial status.
