Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Contract Management Specialist to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our programme, you will be responsible for providing commercial, contractual, and technical interpretation of contracts, as well as leading the commercial evaluation and preparation of contract change proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide commercial, contractual, and technical interpretation of contracts, ensuring compliance with programme requirements.
- Lead the commercial evaluation and preparation of contract change proposals, including scope definition, pricing strategy, and risk evaluation.
- Manage contract change proposals, ensuring timely and effective negotiation with customers.
- Own the contract management and contract compliance activities for the programme, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
- Proactively manage customer disputes and complaints, providing timely and effective resolution.
- Provide commercial advice to project and delivery teams, supporting the management and delivery of the programme.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with customer commercial/contracts teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and report on programme financial status, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and opportunities, developing and implementing strategies to ensure programme success.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in contract management, including commercial and contractual elements of contract change pipelines.
- Strong understanding of programme technical performance metrics and financial status.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with technical staff, peers, and management.
- Ability to operate independently, with minimal supervision.
