Join Our Leadership Team as a Shift Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Leader to join our leadership team at Hall & Woodhouse Brewery & Managed Careers. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our pub, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of staff to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the pub, including opening and closing procedures, security, and safety protocols
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement business plans and objectives
  • Provide coaching and training to staff to improve their skills and performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, and food safety regulations

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Knowledge of hospitality operations and management principles
