Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shift Leader to join our Leadership team at the Hangleton Manor. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our pub during your shift, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the pub during your shift, ensuring that all areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained
  • Supervise and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets
  • Monitor and control stock levels, waste, and cash handling to minimize losses and maximize profits
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve business objectives and implement company policies
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new ideas and initiatives to drive business growth and improvement

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience in a hospitality environment, preferably in a pub or restaurant setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Knowledge of hospitality operations, including food and beverage management, customer service, and staff management
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and contributing to the overall success of our business
