Yolk Recruitment is currently working with a long-standing Welsh business that is seeking an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their team.


You will be working independently, covering 4 production lines, on a 4on 4off (2 days/2 nights) shift pattern.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven Electrical and Mechanical knowledge to support all production lines within the plant.
  • Experience with PLC fault finding and repair using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
  • Demonstrable experience of working independently.
  • Installation and maintenance of machinery and site services equipment.


The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Electrical and Mechanical support and knowledge on all lines within the plant, utilizing PLCs to fault find and repair, and ensuring maximum machine availability through effective planned preventative maintenance schedules.


As a Multiskilled Engineer, you will bring valuable experience to the team, including:

  • Proactive equipment testing, fault finding, and repair.
  • PLC fault finding and modification experience using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
  • Demonstrable experience of working independently.


The company offers a competitive salary up to £53,000, rising to £55,000 after probation, with plenty of overtime opportunities and current engineers earning upwards of £ benefits.
