Exciting Opportunity for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills to work with a market leader known for its strong financial performance and commitment to improving equipment performance, reliability, and workforce development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely technical support to ensure production targets are met by correcting, preventing, and eliminating technical issues.
  • Drive a shift from reactive maintenance to a proactive, improvement-focused culture to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
  • Perform routine and reactive maintenance on production machinery to reduce downtime.
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical fault-finding.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Assist with new equipment installations and commissioning.
  • Keep detailed maintenance records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Recognised Level 3 qualification in either Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
  • Experience with PLCs (ideal but not essential).
  • Training and development opportunities.
  • Opportunity to work on exciting new projects.
  • Ample opportunities for overtime at enhanced rates, bringing annual earnings to around £50,000.
