Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Production Support

Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our client's modern production facility in Ebbw Vale. As a key member of the production team, you will provide engineering support to ensure maximum plant and equipment efficiency, minimizing downtime and optimizing production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the production team in achieving daily targets and ensuring good repair and manufacturing practices are followed.
  • Deliver planned engineering tasks on time and in full, ensuring completion of maintenance documents and CMMS.
  • Work closely with production staff to identify and resolve issues, contributing to cost reduction initiatives and process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G or BTEC Level 3 or HNC/HND level.
  • Multi-skilled, mechanical and electrical skills/experience, with apprenticeship training.
  • Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production, with FMCG/Food manufacturing experience desired.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary of c£40 - £43k.
  • 4 on 4 off - Days and Nights (12 hour shifts) (2 days, 2 nights, then 4 off).
