About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Ambulance Vehicle Preparation Specialist. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our frontline ambulances are fully equipped and prepared to attend to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process ambulances in a prescribed and controlled manner to ensure they are fully equipped and prepared for patient care.
  • Conduct detailed cleaning and infection prevention and control activities to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Inspect and check medical and lifting equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Restock consumables and complete vehicle checks to ensure ambulances are ready for service.
  • Prepare consumables, manage stock, refuel, and move vehicles across various locations as required.
  • Record all daily activities and repatriate equipment from hospital trusts.
Requirements
  • Driving license with full Category C1 entitlement, valid in the UK.
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work unsocial hours on a 7-day/24-hour shift rota system.
  • Good literacy and numerical skills to pass required examinations and tests.
  • Commitment to the principles underlying the Trust's Equal Opportunities Policy.
